Random-dyed, Hand-woven Scarf

MULTI-COLOURED RAINBOW HAND-WOVEN SCARF

This unusual scarf was woven on my rigid heddle loom from a random dyed 100% Acrylic yarn weft and a wine-coloured acrylic warp.  The blend of colours is absolutely delightful and a joy to wear.  I have made a couple for myself in this yarn and it wears and washes well).  It feels very comfortable and soft against the skin.   The scarf is light and pleasantly warm.  It is finished with a hand-twisted fringe.

Dimensions are a generous:  77in/195cm long (excluding fringe).  Length including the fringe is 86in/218cm.  Width is 7in /17½cm.

Care instructions: Gentle hand wash only in cool water, cool rinse. Press or squeeze gently to remove excess water or short spin. Do not wring. Gently pull into shape while damp. Do not tumble dry. If really necessary, dry iron using a pressing cloth at a low temperature.  Never steam or wet press. Acrylic fibres do not like heat.
